AI & Process Automation - DACH Region

Less manual work between systems. More time for your business.

Handing orders from one ERP to the next, running dropshipping end to end, mapping contract manufacturing cleanly, reading incoming invoices. We first look at where the real workload sits. Then we rebuild the top candidates - with AI where it adds value and classic automation where that is enough. Small scope, live fast, measurable.

What changes afterwards

Less routine. More room to move.

You know where AI really adds value - and where it doesn't.

Not every process gets better with AI. After the audit, you have a prioritized list: which 3-5 use cases actually make a difference, which ones don't pay off - and in which order we tackle them.

Orders and data move between your systems on their own.

Two ERP systems, shop, supplier, shipping, accounting: instead of retyping, it runs in the background. Nobody transfers order numbers by hand anymore. Copy-paste errors are gone.

Your team does the work you hired them for.

Not the work a system could handle. Fewer routine clicks, more customer contact, more decisions. And a noticeably smaller backlog.

Honest take

No "AI makes everything better" promises. Here is when it really fits.

Ideal for you if ...

  • You have several systems where data or orders travel back and forth manually (ERP, shop, CRM, shipping, accounting)
  • You know specific routine processes that eat your team's time - you are not just looking to "do more AI"
  • You want fast, measurable results, not a six-month strategy project
  • You already run an ERP, shop or CRM and want the automation to build on it
  • You have processes that run the same way several times a week - order transfers, invoices, delivery notes, standard replies
  • You have noticed that your team maintains more data than it serves customers or sells products
  • You are ready to start with one use case and expand from there - instead of tackling everything at once
  • You see a bottleneck around one key person that automation or AI support could relieve

Not a good fit if ...

  • You want an "AI strategy" without concrete use cases - that is a different consulting format
  • You cannot provide internal contacts who explain and test the processes
  • You want to train your own AI model - that is a job for specialists, not for us

Not sure whether AI automation makes sense for you? That is exactly what the free first consultation is for. If a use case does not pay off, we say so directly. If none of them fit, we say that too.

Dein Weg mit uns

From the first analysis to automation that grows with your business.

No master plan upfront. We start with a clear analysis, build the simple things first, work our way up to the complex topics - and expand the automation step by step.

01
Phase 1

Analyze processes

We look at how your team actually works - which systems, which routine steps, where time quietly disappears. No workshop slides, but conversations with the people who do the work every day. At the end, you have a list of automation candidates, rated by effort and impact.

You have a prioritized list of the processes that are actually worth automating.

02
Phase 2

Start with the simple things

We begin with processes that are clearly defined and have few edge cases. The first automation is live in a few weeks - not months. Your team sees the change immediately, and you know the approach works in your company.

A first automation runs in production - with measurable time savings in daily work.

03
Phase 3

Take on the complex topics

Once the first automations run stable, we move to the bigger topics: cross-system flows, AI-supported decisions, edge cases you only really understand after a few weeks live. Every new use case builds on what the previous ones taught us.

Several use cases are running - including ones that looked too big at the start.

04
Phase 4

Automate more and more

Automation is not a one-off project - it grows with your business. New processes come in, existing ones get refined. What is 3-4 use cases in year one can be significantly more in year two - at lower cost per use case, because the foundation is in place.

A stable foundation that lets new automation use cases go live fast and at low cost.

Honest

The usual objections. And our straight answers.

Before you decide to work with us, you want clarity. The questions we hear most often before an automation project - and what we say directly in return.

No lock-in: automations run on your infrastructure and your systems
Clear costs per use case before we start
If a use case does not pay off, we say so directly

We hear that a lot, and in the end it is rarely fully true. Yes, your processes have their quirks - but 60-80% of them are closer to standard than you think. We look at the rest together and decide whether automation or manual handling makes more sense. Not everything has to be automated to make a difference.

That is exactly why we start small. Phase 1 is a few conversations, not a week-long workshop. For the implementation we need 2-3 meetings per use case with one contact from your team, not half the company. The time you invest is manageable - and the time that gets freed up afterwards is the whole point.

True, AI hallucinates when you let it run unchecked. That is why we only use it where it really adds value - and always with verification steps. For critical processes, a human stays in the loop. For clearly structured tasks, classic automation without any AI is often enough - it is deterministic and holds no surprises.

The most common reasons automation projects fail: thinking too big, doing too much at once, no clear use cases. We do it the other way around: one use case at a time, and each one has to work before the next one starts. If we see that something will not hold, we say so early - not after three months of development.

It depends on the use case - but you always get a clear number before we start, not an estimate with a rubber band. A typical first use case is in the low to mid four-figure range, depending on systems and complexity. The first consultation and the analysis assessment are free. If a use case does not pay off, we say so directly.

About onboos

Automation from real projects - not from the textbook.

onboos is built so you talk to the person who actually understands your processes - not to an account manager who hands it off to a development team. Founded and run by David Tatzl, with 15+ years of background in ERP and automation.

That means short paths, direct decisions and no status reports where someone else explains what they did. When needed, we bring in specialists for specific topics - but the lead, the line of thought and the honesty always stay in one place.

15+ years of ERP and automation - based in St. Gallen, working across DACH, focused on owner-led mid-sized companies.
